FLUX is the model family from Black Forest Labs, founded by the original Stable Diffusion researchers. FLUX.1 [schnell] is Apache-licensed, [dev] is available for non-commercial use, and [pro] and Kontext editing models are served through the API.
The open variants run locally in ComfyUI and other tools and are widely used for fine-tuning.
