OpenHands, formerly OpenDevin, runs agents that can write code, execute commands, browse the web, and call APIs inside a sandbox. It is used for research on software agents and as a self-hosted alternative to commercial coding agents.
The project is MIT-licensed, with a hosted cloud version from All Hands AI.
